For generations, Green Lake has had the reputation of being one of the Midwest’s best-kept secret vacation spots. With a beautiful shoreline and boasting Wisconsin’s deepest natural inland lake, Green Lake is only hours from home, but seems worlds away.
Whether you decide to go swimming in the clean spring-fed water or rent a pontoon boat for a party on the lake, there is plenty to do during our summer season to keep any visitor busy. Trails wind throughout the Green Lake Conference Center’s grounds, where a visitor could look forward to connecting with nature on foot or by bike—you may even see some wildlife!
We have world-class fishing year-round, wonderful concerts hosted almost every week in our historic opera house, and restaurants for every taste and budget.
Busy with events year-round, be sure not to miss our weekly summer concert series on Wednesday nights, the “best little fair around” in August, the statewide Chili Cookoff Contest hosted in September, and everyone’s favorite fall festival: Harvest Fest. Weekly farmer’s markets and beautifully catered Farm to Table Dinners are a part of what makes Green Lake special, so be sure not to miss out on our special local flavors.
With so much to see and do, coming to Green Lake is a no brainer. For more information about what’s happening in the Green Lake area, please consult our website at visitgreenlake.com or reach out to the Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, where we’re always happy to help you plan your trip!
